Hey everyone, the name is Nik and I am totally new to tabletop gaming but not to 40k.
This is the beginning to something fun and great. Warhammer 40K. Finally gave into trying this table top war gaming after many years of enjoying the unique universe. Honestly what got me excited for this and made me try out the actual thing was that I wanted to get in touch with my creative side again. After most of my grade school life doing art and then doing something totally different in college, for good reasons., I decided to get in touch with my creative side again because of all the customization that can happen in this game.
So this will be my little timeline to what I buy and how my progress is going for my army. I will aso be painting models just for the hell of it. I will give more details on what I will be using in a future post. This is basically a starter set, Assault on Black Reach, with the codex (special rules) for the army type I will be using and a hobby knife for various things.
